The Fountains of the Bellagio

When people think of Las Vegas one of the first iconic images that comes to mind are the Fountains of the Bellagio. The Fountains have become one of Las Vegas’s most beloved landmarks towering in front of the hotel and casino inside a nine-acre man made lake named Lake Como. The popular attraction has the ability to shoot animated streams of water over 500 feet into the air. The estimated cost to build the fountain was $75 million dollars and was the brainchild of WET designs. WET designs created some of the most stunning water art throughout the world including the Dubai fountain and the Fountain of Nations at the EPCOT center in Orlando, Florida.

If wondering, the Bellagio attraction isn’t just water shooting into air. It’s a choreographed performance of water set to light and music. The best times to watch the Fountains are at sunset. There is something incredibly touching about standing in front of the Bellagio with people you love. Many would agree a trip to Vegas wouldn’t be complete without seeing this extraordinary sight.
