I’m not much of a gambler, so the idea of going to Vegas didn’t really pull my trigger until recently when I heard about MGM Grand’s latest venture – WET REPUBLIC – 53,000 square feet of adult-only water fun offer what developers are calling an “ultra-pool” experience.
Soft, classic colors invite guests into a courtyard featuring 8 luxurious pools with spas. Two saltwater pools, totaling 6,000 square feet of water, shower guests in waterfalls and transport them to the sunny beaches of the Caribbean. (Anytime I can leave the country without really leaving the country is a bonus!)
Across from the water, guests will kick back in a 2,500 square foot covered pool lounge including a 60 ft. marble, glass and bamboo bar, chic furnishings, and music.
At WET REPUBLIC’s center, a 4,100 sq. ft sundeck will host a impressive list of entertainers, making for the ultimate (pool?) party experience.
