If your going to visit Las Vegas anytime soon you should know that it was recently reported that Homeland Security will be giving less money to Las Vegas and in doing so it has fallen to the bottom of the list in cities most unprepared for a disaster, natural or otherwise (think 9/11).
It is felt that the city does not meet the most basic needs of having enough hospital beds for patients if there is a crisis as well as the reaction time to responding to such an event.
Even the radios that the police use is critically out of date. They were purchased way back when in 1985.
It’s not hard to guess that most places and people have not learned the lessons taught to us by 9/11 and the hurricanes of ‘05.
