Looking for a show to see while in Vegas?
I recommend Cirque du Soleil’s racy Zumanity — but with reservations.
Firstly, it’s not for everyone — if you’re easily embarrassed or offended, try something else.
Secondly, it’s expensive. Seats are close to $100 each — more if you sit in the front row.
But if you’re the experimental type and have some winnings to spend, Zumanity might be just the thing.
One of the best parts of the show was actually the pre-show. Two naughty, plus-sized women (the ‘Botero Sisters’) walked through the audience wearing French maid costumes and feeding people strawberries. They squeezed down rows of seats, liberally sitting on laps, flaunting cleavage, and cracking jokes.
Of all the various acts, I had two favorites:
Waterbowl
This involved two talented female contortionists and what looked to be a gigantic fishbowl. They continuously dove in and climbed out, all the while striking impossible poses.
Hoops
This act played off the ‘schoolgirl fantasy’ theme; a woman dressed in a school-type uniform did some amazing things with hula hoops.
Some of the other acts were forgettable, but hey – no show is perfect. So if you’re looking for something sexy to see while in Vegas, this is definitely something to consider.
